Formerly an outdoor stunt stage for Universal Studios, Gibson Amphitheatre is now a stage for  for performers from around the world and has been the site for events of worldwide interest, hosting a Pope and a President.  MTV Music Awards, VH1 Honors, the Academy of Country Music Awards, HBO\'s Comic Relief and AIDS Project Los Angeles\' Commitment to Life events have all shined at Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk.

From the Hollywood (101) Freeway South

Exit Lankershim Boulevard and make a left turn on to Cahuenga Boulevard. Turn left on to Universal Studios Boulevard and proceed up the hill to the parking structures.

From the Hollywood (101) Freeway North

Exit Universal Studios Boulevard. Turn right at the first signal (Universal Studios Blvd.) and proceed up the hill to the parking structures.
