There's plenty of shopping where there's a Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Robinsons-May, and Neiman Marcus - just to name a few of the 200 stores and vendors in this open-air shopping area.  There are more than 40 restaurants and eateries to choose from to keep your shopping energy up. Fine diners check out Wolfgang Puck, Daily Grill, Roy's Pacific Rim Cuisine, The Ritz, The Pavilion, Chimayo Grill, Muldoons, Tutto Mare, Thaifoon. Casual diners may find Blueberry Hill, Baja Fresh, or the Philadelphia Grill more to their liking.  Wahoos' and Red Robin are more recent competition, and of course, the obligatory McDonalds, Panda Express are available. Chains like California Pizza Kitchen, El Torito Grill and The Hard Rock Cafe also make a showing. Try the Sweet Life bakery for salads, sandwiches, soups and a giant Rice Krispy treat. You can also restore yourself with one of the many delectable choices to be found at The Cheesecake Factory, pretzels from Auntie Annes or sweets from Teuscher Chocolates. Take the load off your feet and relax by one of three fountains. See what the fish are doing at the koi pond. If deep relaxation is required, check into one of the numerous spas available: choose from Four Seasons, The Greehouse Spa, Amadeaus Spa, and Spa Gregories. Special events will entertain you throughout the year, depending on the season. Concerts are routine in the summer. Fashion Island also boasts the country's largest Christmas tree.
